Music Ministry

Worship Ministry

Welcome to the Worship Ministry of Calvary Baptist. We are excited about all that God is doing in our midst. God, in a mighty way, is blessing and adding His increase to our service. We are continually amazed at His work in our lives, and we are dedicated to giving Him all the glory and praise for what He is doing.

We are also excited about this opportunity for you to partner with us in this ministry. There are needs in many areas of service: we need singers, players, nursery workers, special event coordinators, other special needs people...and we need prayer warriors! If there is not another ministry that God is calling you to, we would love for you to pray about what God would have you to do in our ministry.

We look forward to working with you in the coming days. It is our prayer that God will continue to bless you in your daily life and as we partner together for the edification of the saints and the building up of the kingdom of God.

In Christ,

Orchestra and Band

The orchestra and band is a wonderful ministry that adds tremendously to the worship environment at Calvary Baptist. This group serves in worship every Sunday. They are an exciting part of our musicfamily at Calvary. Their purpose is to first and foremost bring glory to Jesus Christ through the playing of their musical instruments. They are united in music, service, and spirit.

Worship Choir

Our mission in Worship Choir is to first and foremost glorify God through lifting high our voices in praise and adoration of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Our choir leads worship in Sunday morning worship as well as special meetings. Worship Choir is not a performing ensemble, but rather a family unified in exalting Christ and leading others to join in offering the sacrifice of praise to our audience of one, our God. We are passionate about our mission, music, and the method of engaging it.

"That we should be to the praise of His glory..."
